Breaking: Former Chief Justice of Nigeria, Idris Kutigi, dies at 78

Today, Nigeria and the legal profession has lost a great man,  a former Chief Justice of Nigeria, Idris Kutigi at 78. Justice Kutigi died in a London hospital this morning, October 21st.





He is survived by 18 children and over 40 grandchildren.





Personally to me as a lawyer, after my encounter with him i saw him as a dedicated public servant, justick Kutigi 'slegacy can only be defined as one of compassion and justice. He was steadfast in his pursuit of fairness and higher ideals and tirelessly sacrificed towards bettering our country which he served.





May his soul rest in peace, Amen.

"Yes my menses appeared 30 minutes to my performance and I had to put on a sanitary pad and still go on stage. "Menstruation is not a shame and I urge all young women take a cue from my actions and not to let it stop them from doing anything they want to do."

Over the weeks now Nigerians are being saddled with the news about the police refusing to leave the premises of a serving Senator, Dino Melaye, but some Nigerians online expect that this over-zealousness at getting the Senator could possibly be used in securing lives and properties of Nigerians on a daily basis. What are his friends saying about this? why is there silence over this issue? Whose toes has the serving senator stepped on?
