According to Facebook user known as Dotlab,founder of Parental Care Initiative who posted the picture via his page, says the mother of the kid did this barbaric act on her child because of N50 fufu. Can you imagine this? Poverty or depression does not justify any form of abuse.





His post reads;







I still don't belive that a mother can do this to her son because of 50naira fufu.
It's very unfortunate that people don't know the WORTH of children in our society that is the reason the Care of the world has replaced the CARE for our children in the heart of some parents.
The way we value our children determines our ATTITUDE towards our future. Any parents that Abuse their future (children) such parent's future is always EMPTY. Children are the crown to the aged parents because the child you protect today will protect you tomorrow.
The greatest thing we need now in our society is to have RESPONSIBLE adults, STRONGER and EFFECTIVE parents.

NO TO CHILD NEGLECT
Any society that neglects it children (their rights, care and support) neglects it own future.

"Menstruation is not a shame and I urge all young women take a cue from my actions and not to let it stop them from doing anything they want to do."
