Oh Dear! First Youngest 23yr old Boy diagnosed with Dementia In The UK

His name is Jordan Adams and he is the first young adult to be diagnosed with dementia after his mother died at age 52 after being diagnosed with the ailment. Dementia is not a specific disease. It's an overall term that describes a group of symptoms associated with a decline in memory or other thinking skills severe enough to reduce a person's ability to perform everyday activities.

Although he has no signs of the illness now, doctors have said he could lose the ability to walk, talk and eat for himself at any time.

He has also been told his life could end in his fifties, like his mum Geri, who died at the age of 52. Doctors have  warned his health will deteriorate as he gets older and has  now planned to have his sperm screened for the gene so he and girlfriend Lucy Thomas, 21, can start a family before his symptoms develop.
