Olo koto Umuahia Murder: Who Killed Them And Why?

There was pandemonium  in Umuoba, Abia state after the bodies of a young pastor identified as Blessed Kelechi Iwuanyanwu and two other members of his church identified as his junior pastor Kalu Ikeagwu and a female member Ruth Andrew, a divorcee and the pastor's fiance were murdered  by unknown assailants.

According to reports, the woman's ex-husband lives abroad and the pastor had plans to marry her.

 Members of the church who spoke with ChannelsTV said these persons were not present in church. But they received a call from an unknown person speaking as though he was the pastor himself, and telling them he wouldnt  be around for the mega service.

A male member of the church said the call sounded suspicious and so they went in search of their pastor whom they had not seen for days.  The bodies were discovered at the late pastor's residence scene, Umuobia Housing Estate, Olokoro.  Some of the relatives and church members at the scene said the suspected murderers must have carried out the act last Sunday morning as the three pastors were not in church that Sunday till Friday evening when they visited the house and saw dead bodies.

The decomposing bodies have been taken to the mortuary.

The Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of the State CID, Patrick Edung who led the police to the the scene to evacuate the bodies, said the police has commenced investigation in the matter.
