(Video) Asaba Link Roads Blocked as Students Protest Death Of colleagues Shot and Killed At APC Primaries
The Federal College of Technology Asaba Delta State has been shut down by the authorities of the institution, following a peaceful but painful protest by students. Major roads linking Ibusa road through to the Anwai road and government house were temporarily closed by the angry students.

The students were protesting over the death of an only son, Henry Nweke, a 200-level student of industrial technology and another student after they were shot dead by security agents during the APC senatorial primaries that held yesterday Wednesday October 3rd right inside the institution. Henry was shot dead by a trigger happy policeman.
The institution was used as venue of the rescheduled primary election. The election was postponed as a result of the crisis in the Delta chapter of the party.

A bullet fired by one of the policemen deployed in the institution for the exercise had mistakenly hit the deceased students who were immediately taken to the hospital.
According to reports, Henry died on the spot while the other victim died at the Federal Medical Center Asaba, where they were rushed to.
