'#REFUND AND RESIGN: OYE MUST GO.' Bianca Ojukwu Laments

Bianca Ojukwu, wife of late Biafra warlord, chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu is calling on the good men of her party APGA not to stay silent while the image of the party is being dragged to the mud.

she said,

Evil continues to prevail when good men do nothing.....I repeat, Evil continues to prevail when good men do nothing. The principal stakeholders in APGA cannot continue to bury their heads in the sand like the proverbial ostrich and pretend that all is well in the party. Our beloved Party is slowly dying.
They cannot claim not to be aware of the fact that our party is now suffering a massive haemorrage and that once committed members are leaving the party in droves to join other parties. They cannot pretend not to know that many who remain in the party have vowed to work for the electoral success of the PDP during the general elections.

This is a grave situation which calls for decisive action before the party descends further Into the abyss.
The silence of the principal stakeholders in the face of the electoral atrocities perpetrated under the chairmanship of Chief Victor Oye, National Chairman of APGA is troubling. Our party has been greatly devalued and ridiculed before the whole world, not to mention the fact that our once iconic party anthem has been replaced with a new one which brands APGA as a congregation of ’Ndi Wayo’....fraudsters and confidence tricksters.

ARE WE ALL JUST GOING TO SIT BACK AND WATCH THIS PARTY DIE????
It is against this backdrop, and as a principal member of this party’s Board of Trustees.... which by constitution is the moral conscience of the party, that I call on the National Leader Of APGA, Chief Willie Obiano, to demand without delay, the immediate resignation of APGA national chairman Chief Victor Oye. OYE MUST GO.
Before taking his leave, however, he must offer restitution to those aspirants who have been defrauded by REFUNDING their monies.

This will go a long way towards restoring the battered image of our party as well as the confidence of our members, and most urgently, stem the massive exodus of our members to other parties.
By taking this bold step and long awaited action, our National Leader Chief Willie Obiano will demonstrate that he does not support nor condone the gross violations that were perpetuated during the sham primaries. He must not be seen to reward impunity and reprehensible behaviour.

It is sad that several weeks after the massive heist which took place in the name of primary elections in Anambra, and most especially in Imo State, there has been no meaningful ettempt to genuinely address the grievances of aspirants. What is so difficult in refunding money extorted from Aspirants??? If our National Leader fails to insist on this imperative action, there is no doubt that the situation of this party wil change from a search and rescue mission to a search and recovery mission.

I also call my Distinguished colleagues , fellow Board Of Trustee members, including those who are Party candidates in the forthcoming general elections such as Sen. Chief (Sir) Victor Umeh, Dr Alex Otti , Alhaji Sani Shinkafi and others, to lend their voices to this call. It is time to come out from the shadows. We must call a spade a spade and redouble our efforts if APGA is to be saved. Time is fast running out.

Silence over the catastrophe that has befallen our party will not spare you, our APGA candidates the negative impact at the polls. This bad rash will not go away unless it is treated....and the sooner, the better the chance for APGA’s redemption, and ultimately, it’s survival.
