Courts May Shut Down As Imo Magistrate's Murder Sparks Legal Battle...

NBA, Orlu Branch has been thrown into mourning since the gruesome murder of a presiding Magistrate at Ubulu in Oru west local government of Imo State barristerNG.com report.





The magistrate, Mr. R.C Ogu was brutally murdered by unknown assailants  who disrespectfully dumped his body on the roadside along Amucha road in Njaba Local government of Imo State on Friday 23rd November 2018.





Unless the spirit of the dead is willing to fight and expose his killers, we doubt if the assailants will be apprehended by the police. (If that works).





The courts in honour of the late magistrate has through the registrar of courts and clerk sent text messages to lawyers outside the region notifying them that matters slated for the week may be adjourned and new dates to be taken subject to the overriding convenience of the court.
