Gov Okowa Gifts $50,000 Each To Super Eagles For Qualifying For Afcon 2019?...Nigeria v Uganda Friendly (photos)

The Super Eagles may have completed the task of qualifying the country for the 2019 AFCON in Cameroon after the draw in Johannesburg, but their failure to score a goal may have cost them $25,000 per goal promised by Delta state Governor Dr Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa.









However information reaching divaviva111.com says that the governor of Delta state has indeed paid the Super Eagles the full  whooping sum of $50,000 each.





In other news, Fans had enjoyed a double treat yestetday when the Super Eagles took on Uganda in friendly yesterday in Asaba, Delta State. Lobi Stars and Enugu Rangers also played in the Super Cup on the day.

The Eagles kicked off against Uganda at 4.30pm, before Lobi Stars and Rangers took the stage from 7pm inside the Stephen Keshi Stadium in Asaba. Lawyers and lovers of football were thrilled and they posted some pictures online to show their solidarity. 





First half stoppage goal by Samad Kadiri proved to be the difference between Lobi Stars, who will represent in the 2019 CAF Champions League, and Aiteo Cup winners Rangers in Asaba Tuesday night.
