31st December, Declared Public Holiday To Pray for Alhaji Shehu Shagari

Tambuwal’s Director General, Media and Public Affairs, Malam Abubakar Shekara, issued a statement to newsmen on Saturday in Sokoto that Governor Aminu Tambuwal of Sokoto State has declared December 31 as public holiday in the state to enable residents offer special prayer for the repose of the soul of former President Shehu Shagari.





This was done with consultation from the Sultanate council of Sokoto state.

I hope some people read wide and learn about menstrual health to stop the stereotype against young girls and women. "Yes my menses appeared 30 minutes to my performance and I had to put on a sanitary pad and still go on stage. "Menstruation is not a shame and I urge all young women take a cue from my actions and not to let it stop them from doing anything they want to do."
