Ever had someone incarcerated in prison for a wrong he never committed or a mistake he wished he never made?









Well, a group is embarking on a prison mission to assist inmates in prison in a unique and different way. 





According to the Chairman of the organisation Jokol & Vivian Amaka Orji Foundation he said;





"our aim is not only to secure the quick access to justice  to inmates but to make them self reliant and dependent to rdeuce recidivism among ex-offenders. We can only achieve this by providing skill acquisition to some of the inmates so they don't become liabilities to their families or go on a revenge mission when they are out. But to rather reintegrate them into the society.

Her statement read in part;  "Regardless of my costume being transparent, my only option was to put on a sanitary pad and still go ahead to perform. I am a woman and I’m not ashamed of menstruating. "I want to urge every woman to resist being discriminated against because of menstruation. I hope some people read wide and learn about menstrual health to stop the stereotype against young girls and women. "Yes my menses appeared 30 minutes to my performance and I had to put on a sanitary pad and still go on stage. "Menstruation is not a shame and I urge all young women take a cue from my actions and not to let it stop them from doing anything they want to do."
