Dino Melaye: 'They have Planted guns in my cars'...'He Shot One of our men' - Police

Earlier today, Senator Dino Melaye had posted on his Twitter handle of some Police operatives currently at his residence to effect his arrest.  





According to him, they had beaten and arrested his security guard and are planning to plant guns in his cars.









According to the police, they are on an order to effect the arrest of Dino Melaye for an alleged attempted mrder of their colleague Sgt Danjuma Saliu, attached to 37 Police Mobile Force (PMF) while on duty at a stop and search point along Aiyetoro Gbede, Mopa Road in Kogi state.





Report say the offence was committed by Senator Dino Melaye and his armed thugs in Kogi State on the 19th July, 2018 when they shot and wounded the police officer.





The police through its Public Relations Officer, Jimoh Moshood had in a statement said they had written to the clerk of the house to effect his arrest and have promised to lay siege in his residence until he is found and arrested.
