Hush Money Scheme: Trump's Former Attorney Michael Cohen Bags 36 Months in Prison

Recall earlier last year, 52 year old Michael Cohen.  President Donald Trump’s former personal lawyer and “fixer,” admitted to lying  to Congress in connection to a Trump Tower deal in Moscow after prosecutors with special counsel Robert Mueller’s team charged him with making false statements.







Cohen also paid adult film star $130,000 in exchange for her silence about an alleged sexual encounter she says she had with Trump in 2006. Prosecutors said Cohen was reimbursed for his payment to Daniels in monthly installments “disguised as payments for legal services pursuant to a retainer, when in fact no such retainer existed.”





A federal judge in New York sentenced President Donald Trump’s former long-time attorney Michael Cohen to 36 months in prison yesterday Wednesday after he pleaded guilty to several charges.
