Jokol & Vivian Amaka Orji Foundation Presents: Continous Skill Acquisition For Inmates in Nigeria Prisons

In a powerful speech by Vivian Onukwufor, a co-chair of the foundation that didn’t pander to any group or government was straight to the point when she said that Nigeria prisons will be decongested when every citizen is able to thrive.

Special guest speaker, Mr. President Aigbokhan, the lawyer who won the Constitutional rights of prisoners to vote in Nigeria with his tight schedule made himself available at the prison. His speech mind blowing as he analysed the stages he had go through to ensure that ALL (not just a selected few) prisoners be given the right to vote for candidates of their choice. His speech was applauded by the inmates who never knew that someone was out there looking after them. He appealed to well meaning NGO's to help provide gadgets that help the inmates get full information of what happens in the outside world. He counselled them and encouraged them not to give up as their present situation is only a phase.

The prisoner's had the opportunity to interact with members of the foundation and through their interaction, the foundation took up cases for free, as well getting to know the skills available to learn like shoe making, soap making, hair dressing, business and lots more.
