MERRY CHRISMASS... HERE'S HOW TO BRIGHTEN THE HOLIDAYS OF PERSONS BEHIND BARS

Yes you have your freedom today, but what if that freedom is taken away from you just by the snap of the fingers? For some of us, this season is a time to celebrate with your family only. If your loved ones are dead, who then would you celebrate this season with?

Spending the holidays in prison can be downright miserable, and Christmas can be the worst of all. Most of us, if granted one wish on Christmas Day, would simply want to be with our loved ones enjoying a meal, giving and receiving gifts, and having a fun time together. For the vast majority of incarcerated men and women, though, that is not going to happen this year. So, what can we do to brighten their days during this season? Joining your local church prisoners outreach group or any NGO whose core interest is for prisoner's welfare is a good start.
