More Photos From Jokol & Vivian Amaka Orji's Foundation Skill Acquisition Training for Inmates

An Non profit Organisation held a program at the Federal prison Agbor, Delta state, on Monday, 17 December, 2018, where they launched a continuing skills acquisition programme for the inmates to help them sustain themselves upon their discharge.

According to the Executive Director of Jokol & Vivian Amaka Orji Foundation, Vivian Onukwufor Esq, she said;

I want to start this speech by thanking the Authorities and Personnel of the Nigerian Prisons Service for granting us permission to hold this programme here today.
We are glad to be with you all today. It is our belief that, as many of you prepare to reintegrate in the larger society after serving your terms here, you will contribute positively towards the development of Nigeria and your immediate environments in particular.
We want to reduce the situation where prison inmates are discharged from prison and go into the society as liabilities by helping you acquire some skills. These skills will help you to be self-reliant and you can make legal money for yourselves through the application of these skills.
In collaboration with the Authorities of the Prison Service, this programme will be a continuous exercise, and we will provide medical support as much as we can render through our team.

Thank you Awele Ideal Esq, convener of Walk Against Sexual Abuse and Defilement (WASAD). We thank Legal Access Foundation CEO Chidi Dimgba for his contribution towards making this programme a success.
