Election2019: PDP Rejects Amina Zakari as chairperson, INEC

Few hours ago, Mrs. Amina Zakari, a relative of President Muhammadu Buhari was appointed as chairperson of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC Advisory Committee and Election Collation Centre Committee.





Members of the Peoples Democratic Party through its Director, Media and Publicity of the PDP Presidential Council, PPCO, Kola Ologbondiyan said the party would not accept the choice of Mrs. Zakari for reasons it had enumerated in the past. He vehemently rejected the appointment as it is believed to be a ploy to rig the election.

"Yes my menses appeared 30 minutes to my performance and I had to put on a sanitary pad and still go on stage. "Menstruation is not a shame and I urge all young women take a cue from my actions and not to let it stop them from doing anything they want to do."
