In Case You Missed: Lawyers Directed To stay off Courts For Two Days With Possibility of an Extension - NBA

The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) had after its emergency NEC meeting Abuja decided to embark on a two-day warning boycott of courts all over Nigeria over the suspension of the Chief Justice of Nigeria by President Buhari.





The association condemns in strong terms the unconstitutional suspension of the CJN and recognises Justice Walter Onnoghen as CJN.





The association shall not by any means recognise Justice Tanko Muhammed ar the AG CJN.





In other news, the Senate has approached the Supreme Court for the Interpretation of the Presidential powers of the removal of the Chief Justice of Nigeria.
