'Sagay is suffering from legal dementia' Nigerian' -Lawyers Online Blast Prof. Sagay for Backing FG on CJN's Arraignment.

Itse Sagay has come under fire for backing the Federal Government on arraignment of the Chief Justice of Nigeria. Lawyers in Nigeria has through various online platforms condemned his support for the proposed arraignment of Walter Onnoghen, Chief Justice of Nigeria slated for tomorrow 14th January 2019. As far as the lawyers are concerned, there are no charges known to law as regards the arraignment of the CJN and they expect Prof. Sagay to know better. The Rule of Law has not been complied with.





They are of the view that since there are no charges known to law the CJN is expected not to appear before the CCT as no charges or any report have been taken to the National Judicial Council for proper investigation.





This statement by the Senior Advocate of Nigeria didn't go down well with Nigerian lawyers.
