New York’s New Attorney General, Leticia James to Investigate Trump's Business dealings
Incase you do not know her, Leticia James, the 67th New York State Attorney General, is also the first woman to ever hold this particular state-wide office in history of America.
Democrat Letitia James was sworn into office late Monday night during a ceremony at the state capitol in Albany and in one fell swoop made history as the state’s first Black attorney general, as well as the first woman to ever be elected to the office. said she plans to thoroughly investigate the business dealings of President Donald Trump and his family when she takes office next month.
“We want to investigate anyone in his orbit who has, in fact, violated the law,” James told NBC News.
She slammed President Donald Trump, for his seeming inability to “go a day without threatening our fundamental rights, can’t go a day without threatening the rights of immigrants, can’t go a day without dividing us.”
