Onnoghen: 'Appearance Fees' Lawyers Chased Out of Court

Most lawyers aside from their salaries make loads of money through appearance fees paid by clients. Despite the directive by the NBA that all lawyers must boycott the court sessions for 2 days starting from today, some recalcitrant lawyers who refused to comply with the NBA directive were chased out of Enugu magistrate court premises by an enforcement team of the state branch of NBA.





Unfortunately, that some states in northern Nigeria decided not to comply with the boycott even when chairmen of those state chapters were present at the meeting where the decision was reached at in Abuja is worrisome.
