See Gobe! Court Grant Caretaker Prayers To Evict Tenant Over Gossip

Mr. Abdul Bello has dragged his tenant Khadija Afolabi, to a Sharia court sitting at Magajin Gari, Kaduna, disclosing through gossip her rent to other tenants who paid higher rates.





According to the report, the tenant had pleaded with the landlady through the caretaker to accept the rent of N125,000 as against the normal rent of N150,000. The caretaker after pleading with the landlady accepted N130k.





But rather than keeping her testimony to herself, she went ahead to expose the sum which triggered a rift with other tenants. He prayed the court









to compel Afolabi to pack out of the house immediately, since her rent had expired since December 18, 2018; and as the landlady had already given out the flat to her cousin.





Which was granted. Tenant asked to park on or before 9th of January.
