The National Assistant Publicity Secretary, Akorede Habeeb Lawal Esq has through his Twitter handle reacted to the swift way and manner at which the charge was filed against Justice Walter Onnoghen, Chief Justice of Nigeria and his arraignment slated for Monday the 14th January. This brings to the mind of a 'reasonable man' of a political stimulation behind this brouhaha.





He wrote;





It ought not to have been instituted at all until the National Judicial Council has handled and determined it one way or the other. The haste with which the charge was filed&the arraignment arranged smacks of ill will against the Judiciary! @NigBarAssoc will resist this! https://t.co/ecjZnRUHZe

















Now that lawyers are exposing the merits or demerits of the arraignment, we await to see what the Federal Government would spring up to back up their actions. The law is sweet - indeed.
