19 boys Suspected to be Yahoo Boys Arrested By EFCC...Recovers Pants, Charms
No fewer than 19 suspected Internet fraudsters(Yahoo boys) have been arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC at Akobo, Ibadan, Oyo State. Some Nigerians online believe that if they were Igbo boys from the Eastern part of Nigeria, The last would not be heard of them.
The suspects are: Bamidele Ayodele Samson, Bamidele Philip, Tunji Oladapo Sowale, Bololaji Olalekan and Abdulrauf Abiodun.
Others are: Aliu Lukman, 18; Damilola Fatona, 20; Shonubi Adetola, 18; Adewale Babatunde, 17; Afolabi Lekan, 19; Awe Ayodele, 24 and Adeyemi Gbadebo, 19.
Babatunde Afeez, Akorede Ahmed Olalekan, Adeleye Damilola and Moshod Richard were arrested at their hideout.
They are already helping operatives with useful information.
Their arrest followed intelligence report received by the Commission about their criminal activities.
EFCC operatives recovered four different models and brands of exotic cars, five laptops, 20 telephones (10 iPhones) and one small bag containing items suspected to be fetish objects (juju) from them. Several documents, including international passports, and ATM cards were recovered from them.
