Ignore Fake News: $1 to Naira Exchange Rate is still N361.75.

Fake pictures circulating on social media which users are falsely claiming depict that 1 dollar is now 184 Nairange as against N362. Unfortunately, misinformation and fake news in Nigeria is nothing new.





Earlier on today, some persons were shocked to hear, read from some top online platforms that '1' US dollar was now '184' Naira, just few hours to Nigeria's Presidential election 2019.





The below rates looked incorrect as Google would usually not approximate the figures on its own. There is always an infraction of kobos in every exchange rate directly from google website. Whoever shared the photo was fraudulent enough not to show the actual figure below the '1' in the statistics table to deceive gullible bloggers and ofcourse Nigerians.

Until Google reacts to this change purportedy coming from its own website, dear readers, dollar has and is still at 361.75 Naira.
