INEC declares Rochas Okorocha winner of Imo West senatorial election

Mr. Francis Ibeawuchi announced the results at the collation center in Orlu Local Government Area, declared Okorocha the senator elect of the district.





The two term serving Governor, polled a total of 97,762 votes to defeat PDP Jones Onyereri who scored 63,117 votes.

"Yes my menses appeared 30 minutes to my performance and I had to put on a sanitary pad and still go on stage.
