The Edo State Police Command has paraded six persons for torturing and inserting pepper into a girl’s private part in Benin City over an alleged missing phone. Amongst the six men, are aides to Oshiomole

FOR allegedly stripping a 24-year-old commercial sex worker naked and inserting hot pepper into her vagina, Mr Lucky Igbinovia, a former aide to Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, the national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) was yesterday remanded in prison custody.

Two other suspects, Mr Joel Otoghile and Kingsley Iyamu were also remanded along with Igbinovia, a top APC member popularly called One Man Squad by Justice Joseph Acha of the Benin High Court Criminal Division till March 6 to decide on their final bail application.

Others include Edobor Osemwengie (Manager of Lafun Hotel); Gregg Eweka and Friday Omorogbe. .

The Police have also established contact with the 24-year-old victim, Ada Friday, to monitor her health status and recovery rate.

According to Mr. Abubakar Yesufu, President of League of Patriotic Lawyers, the victim did not steal any phone. .

“She refused the sexual overtures of the kingpin, who orchestrated the aforesaid missing phone and with the aid of a native doctor, he became the accuser and enforcer in chief of that sordid show of shame,” he said.
