EFCC Arrest DG of Atiku Campaign Tanimu Turaki (SAN)

Tanimu Turaki (SAN), Deputy Director-General (Administration) of the Peoples Democratic Party's Presidential Campaign Organization, has been arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, upon invitation by the EFCC to endorse a bail document for the Finance Director of Atiku Abubakar’s company, Babalele Abdullahi, who was arrested earlier by the commission over flimsy allegations.”





The PDP through its Publicity Secretary, Mr. Kola Ologbondiyan stated that this was a plot by the All Progressives Congress, APC to use state agencies of power to intimidate PDP leaders and the deliberate drowning of PDP’s determination to reclaim its acclaimed February 23 presidential election victory at the tribunal.





The PDP demands his immediate and unconditional release as it claimed that he was arrested for no just cause.
