FHC Delta State Voids Great Ogboru Participation As APC Governorship Candidate

Chief Cyril Ogodo-led faction of the All Progressives Party (APC) had urged the court to recognise it as the authentic APC executive and to sack the Mr. Jones Erue-led executive of the party in the state.





Justice Toyin Adegoke of the Federal High Court sitting in Asaba yesterday Monday in a well considered judgement voided the participation of Great Ogboru as the All Progressives Congress candidate in the 2019 governorship election in Delta State. Mr Jones Erue-led executive of the party in the state was also sacked.





Justice Adegoke upheld the full template of the Ogodo faction’s candidates, including Prof. Pat Utomi, Olorogun Otega Emerhor, Olorogun Ima Niboro as the party’s authentic candidates in the just concluded elections.

"Yes my menses appeared 30 minutes to my performance and I had to put on a sanitary pad and still go on stage. "Menstruation is not a shame and I urge all young women take a cue from my actions and not to let it stop them from doing anything they want to do."
