Anambra Court Discharges and Acquits All Suspects of the Ozubulu Massacre In A Landmark Judgment

Recall that the mass killing occurred sometime in August 6, 2017 wherein about 13 worshipers of St. Philips Catholic Church, Ozubulu, in Ekwusigo Local Government Area of the state were brutal murdered while praising their God.





In a twist of fate in an accelerated hearing, there has been several acquittals in December. Justice Fidelis Aniukwu of a State High Court sitting in Anambra state said the prosecution counsel was unable to prove beyond reasonable doubt the culpability of the defendants.





Chinedu Akpunonu and Onyebuchi Mbanefo were full of gratitude to God for vindicating them.
