Delta State House of Assembly Screens, Confirmes Okowa's Commissioner-Nominees.

Delta State House of Assembly  today Thursday screened and confirmed eight nominees of Governor Okowa for various positions of Commissioners and Special Adviser.





Governor had a few days ago forwarded list of nominees for the positions to the House presided over by the speaker, Hon. Mudashiru Obasa, for screening and confirmation.





The eight nominees include; immediate past Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Mr Peter Mrakpor, immediate past commissioner for Information, Chief Patrick Ukah, immediate past Senior Political Adviser to the Governor, Chief Festus Ochonogor and one time Deputy Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Basil Ganagana.





Others are one time Commissioner for Basic and Secondary education, Prof Patrick Muoboghare, immediate past commissioner for works, Chief James Augoye, immediate past Commissioner for Lands and Surveys, Mr Chika Ossai and Mrs Florence Alanta.





Congratulations to them. We hope for a better Delta State.

"Yes my menses appeared 30 minutes to my performance and I had to put on a sanitary pad and still go on stage. "Menstruation is not a shame and I urge all young women take a cue from my actions and not to let it stop them from doing anything they want to do."
