JAMB Candidate Arrested for Paying N10,000 To Upgrade His Result With Another Student's Result

according to report, a candidate from Bayelsa State with Registration Number 95329290ED identified as Cletus Kokowa was arrested at the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board headquarters in Bwari, Abuja, after he paid N10,000 to the syndicate group he contacted via Whatsapp.  It was alleged that the group specialises in switching the results of successful candidates to those who pay for an upgrade.





According to the Kokowa, some persons sent him a mail stating that his score could be upgraded. He sent his registation number and made the payment of N10,000.





When the results were released, he checked it and he saw 206. They called him and demanded the payment But when he checked again he saw 162.





He has been arrested the NSCDC and would be prosecuted shortly.

EFCC Officials Forcefully Break Into An Expectant Woman's House at 3am

An expectant father has accused EFCC officials of breaking into his home in the middle of the night to conduct a search without a warrant. The man said he was at his home in Olokuta, Kemta, in Idi-Aba, Abeokuta between 3 am to 5 am, when some men forcefully broke into his house using a hammer.  He added that he was afraid they were armed robbers, so he hid in the guest bedroom with his pregnant wife as the men broke in through the sitting room window. According to him, the intruders claimed to be EFCC officials looking for "Yahoo boys", but they had no form of identification, neither did they have a search warrant.  Even without a search warrant, the victim alleged that they searched his house, damaged things, then left without as much as an apology.
