FBI Investigates as Epstein Suicide Raises Questions, Conspiracy Theories

As anger spreads, probes open to how billionaire sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein had the chance to kill himself. The FBI said it was probing the death of alleged billionaire sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein while in custody early Saturday. His apparent suicide raised immediate calls for an investigation and spawned a multitude of conspiracy theories.





For many, the death — apparently by his own hand while supposedly under a 24-hour suicide watch after a similar attempt in recent weeks — appeared too suspicious and too convenient for the many rich and powerful who could have been implicated had his trial gone ahead.





Officials later said he had been taken off suicide watch a day before he killed himself.

Her statement read in part;  "Regardless of my costume being transparent, my only option was to put on a sanitary pad and still go ahead to perform. I am a woman and I’m not ashamed of menstruating. "I want to urge every woman to resist being discriminated against because of menstruation. I hope some people read wide and learn about menstrual health to stop the stereotype against young girls and women. "Yes my menses appeared 30 minutes to my performance and I had to put on a sanitary pad and still go on stage. "Menstruation is not a shame and I urge all young women take a cue from my actions and not to let it stop them from doing anything they want to do."
