Oh No! Four soldiers killed in Boko Haram attack in Borno

It is always sad to write about the killings of Nigerian soldiers in the course of their duty to protect its citizens. Although the Nigerian army is yet to confirm this incident, report has it that the boko haram insurgents descended on the Nigerian Army 5 Brigade in Gubio at about 6:00 p.m. on Saturday as they prepared for Eid Mubarak. The soldiers tried to defend their terrain but were killed and their equipment carted away by the terrorists. where they sabotaged? Who is betraying the soldiers?





In the attack, four guns, one mortar gun and one artillery gun was reportedly stolen.





The military commander has been forced to relocate its troops from Gubio, about 100 kilometres from Maiduguri, to Damasak, where the military operates a larger camp.





The villagers are now prone to more attacks as there is no longer military presence in the town.
