Bravo! Ebonyi State University student hospitalised after 41-day fasting

Can one play Jesus Christ? Just few days after a Zambian pastor was reported dead on the 20th day of his 30-day fast, an Ebonyi State University (EBSU) student identified as Ikechukwu Oke, has been  hospitalised after allegedly engaging in fasting and praying for 41 days because of the challenges his family has been facing.





 





Christian Nwaokpa told Punch “He is  from Ebiaji in Ezza North LGA. It  is his nature.

“As it stands now, men of goodwill and ambassadors are on the way conveying him to the Accident and Emergency Ward in Federal Teaching Hospital in Abakaliki.”





We pray that his fasting to liberate his family will not be in vain.

I hope some people read wide and learn about menstrual health to stop the stereotype against young girls and women. "Yes my menses appeared 30 minutes to my performance and I had to put on a sanitary pad and still go on stage. "Menstruation is not a shame and I urge all young women take a cue from my actions and not to let it stop them from doing anything they want to do."
