Rights activist and co-convener of the Bring Back Our Girls Movement, Aisha Yesufu, has taken to her Twitter handle to remind us of questions we needed to have asked our parents who had consistently told us several reasons why the Igbos cannot rule.





She wrote:





Your parents told you why Igbos should not rule & yet you forgot to ask your parents why is there so much suffering in the Nigeria that Igbos have not ruled?
Do you need a soothsayer to tell you what your parents' generation held onto has not worked for Nigeria?
Can't you see it?
