So Sad: Soldier’s Pitbull Tears off Baby’s Scalp in Abuja Barracks

Some dogs no matter how loyal they are their owners are not children friendly. According to The PUNCH which visited the barracks yesterday Wednesday was informed that the incident occurred on Tuesday around 7.30am.





The black dog, believed to be a pitbull, was said to have broken free from its cage and wandered off into the block where little Michael was playing with his four-year-old brother.





The elder brother ran away upon seeing the dog but his younger brother was not spared as the dog grabbed him by the head and pulled him about 30 metres away and began to bite him repeatedly.





Luckily for the 1 year old, a neighbor who was at her balcony raised alarm upon seeing the boy being dragged by the dog bitting off his ear and tearing off his scalp, exposing his brain.





The dog was eventually killed with a machete after stones thrown at it didn't stop it from holding the child's head.





The boy who was not even shouting through out the ordeal was rushed to the hospital.





According to the information, the owner who is a soldier got furious upon seeing his dog dead.
