(Photos): Dr. Uchendu Foundation Drives Economic Growth for Ezun'Erim Youth and Small Businesses

The Dr. Chinenye Uchendu Global Foundation (DCUGF) has launched the first phase of its non-refundable empowerment scheme, distributing grants directly via Zenith Bank credit alerts to 37 selected beneficiaries in Ezun'Erim Autonomous Community, Nsirimo.

 

Spearheaded by US-based Emergency/ICU Physician and philanthropist Dr. Chinenye Uchendu, the initiative aims to reduce community poverty by at least 80% by 2030, prioritizing youth, skills, trades, and local businesses.

 

Overseen by an Implementation Committee led by Engr. Stanley Ngwaba, the selection process emphasized transparency and structured due process. 

 

The Foundation recognized its committee members for their efforts and confirmed that details regarding future phases will be released in upcoming communications.

Vacation Court Remands Ifeanyi Ogbonna a.k.a Odogwu Asaba Over Alleged Rape and Mansl@ughter

 Delta State High Court has remanded content creator Ifeanyi Ogbonna ("Odogwu Asaba") at the Ogwashi-Uku Correctional Centre over the alleged rape and death of 20-year-old Favour Agbro. ​Recall that Agbro had traveled to Asaba for social media monetization training, where Ogbonna allegedly assaulted her in a hotel. She later recorded a video recounting the ordeal and accusing Ogbonna before dying by suicide from a toxic substance. Following an investigation supported by autopsy and toxicology results, police charged Ogbonna, whose wife publicly defended him by admitting an affair occurred while denying any rape. Ogbonna remains in custody awaiting trial.
