 Delta State High Court has remanded content creator Ifeanyi Ogbonna ("Odogwu Asaba") at the Ogwashi-Uku Correctional Centre over the alleged rape and death of 20-year-old Favour Agbro. ​Recall that Agbro had traveled to Asaba for social media monetization training, where Ogbonna allegedly assaulted her in a hotel. She later recorded a video recounting the ordeal and accusing Ogbonna before dying by suicide from a toxic substance. Following an investigation supported by autopsy and toxicology results, police charged Ogbonna, whose wife publicly defended him by admitting an affair occurred while denying any rape. Ogbonna remains in custody awaiting trial.

An expectant father has accused EFCC officials of breaking into his home in the middle of the night to conduct a search without a warrant. The man said he was at his home in Olokuta, Kemta, in Idi-Aba, Abeokuta between 3 am to 5 am, when some men forcefully broke into his house using a hammer.  He added that he was afraid they were armed robbers, so he hid in the guest bedroom with his pregnant wife as the men broke in through the sitting room window. According to him, the intruders claimed to be EFCC officials looking for "Yahoo boys", but they had no form of identification, neither did they have a search warrant.  Even without a search warrant, the victim alleged that they searched his house, damaged things, then left without as much as an apology. The European drug regulators on Friday, 18th October then approved the first Ebola vaccine. WHO’s Director-General, Tedros Ghebreyesus, in a statement on Thursday, said; “This vaccine has already saved many lives in the current Ebola outbreak, and the decision by European regulator will help it to eventually save many more.”

Pastor David Wilson of Texarkana, Texas, has been a pastor for nearly 40 years. On October 16, a viral video purporting to show the minister performing a sex act on a woman was spread on social media. Speaking exclusively to  Heavy  a family member says that they do not know if the video is real. The family member said that whoever was spreading the video was trying to become famous off of Pastor David Wilson’s name. The daughter of another Pastor David E. Wilson, out of Dallas, some 200 miles west of Texarkana, has taken to Facebook to tell users that her father is not the same Pastor David Wilson. David E. Wilson’s daughter  wrote in a post,  “Sometimes we unknowingly share our names with complete strangers. But that does NOT mean we share the same Mission or Faith! I am the daughter of the Great Doctor David E. Wilson. This other David E. Wilson is a man who just so happens to share same name as him.”

The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has described Wednesday Onitsha tanker explosion that claimed lives as terrorist attack. The Nationonline reports. It said nobody should be deceived that such incidents were mere accidents, insisting that it was designed to exterminate Biafrans from the face of the earth. A Non Government Organization, Network for the Advancement of Good Governance, has now protested at the EFCC's office demanding accelerated trial of Kalu and his cohorts on the alleged N7.6bn fraud. The group said the delay in the trial was not in the spirit of the anti-corruption crusade, which is the hallmark of the President Muhammadu Buhari-led government.

NBA legend Dwyane Wade's 11 year old son appears to have come out as a transgender. The superstar NBA player referred to the 11 year old as one of his "girls" on social media today. Dwyane posted a pic on Instagram today - of Zion with Gabrielle Union and daughter Kaavia. The NBA legend captioned the pics with the words "My Girls." Social media has been buzzing ever since - with many viewing the post as a coming out party for Zion, who they suspect is transgender. In April, Dwyane first hinted at his son's LGBTQ status. Dwyane and his wife Gabrielle Union brought the 11-year-old boy to the Miami Pride festivities with his older brother Zaire, and his baby stepsister, Kaavia. “We support each other with Pride!” Dwyane wrote as the caption of one of the pictures, showing his wife with her arm around Zion, who was wearing a rainbow ribbon on his tank top.
